This Saturday, a bus was completely burnt down on the A1 highway in Azambuja district. Three of the 48 passengers in the car were treated at the scene.
The cause of the fire was a burst bus tire. The driver and passengers left the vehicle in a timely manner.
Traffic was blocked in the direction of Porto-Lisbon (North-South). According to the State Police, only the left lane in the North-South direction is open. The queue on the roads in the Azambuja area stretched for seven kilometers.
The alarm came in at 5:21 p.m. At 18:11, 29 militants were on the scene, supported by 11 vehicles.
