The trial of the main suspect in the abduction and murder of Maddie McCann resumed this Friday in a court in Braunschweig, Germany.
Former friend Christian Bruckner was heard in court. The Englishman claims the suspect is capable of anything and has previously said the man was a “psychopathic devil”.
In court, he began by finding videos of Bruckner abusing a woman and a German teenager. The discovery allegedly occurred when a man came to the house where Bruckner lived in Praia da Luz to steal diesel fuel.
As for the victims in the video, he stated that she was a German woman about 16 years old and that in the pictures she was tied to a pole. He said Bruckner danced around the victim before forcing her to perform sexual acts on him. As for the first victim, he said it was a woman in her 60s, naked and tied to a table. He stated that he recognized Bruckner by his voice, and at the trial he stated that he had no doubt that it was the suspect, in his words, who behaved very arrogantly.
Christian Bruckner is on trial on three counts of rape and two counts of sexual abuse of minors. Allegedly everything was done in Portugal. However, the District Attorney’s Office hopes to collect as much evidence as possible in Maddie’s case.
