An electrician wrote on social media that a client fired her from her job because she was a woman. On TikTok, Lexi Abreu opened up about the challenges she faces working in a “male-dominated” industry, and the video quickly went viral.
When she realized Lexi would be doing the job, the woman asked if someone else could do it.
Although Lexi assured her that she was an expert and could handle the job easily, the client said she was not happy with the situation and would like to contact the company.
“I hear this all the time, especially from older women,” the electrician explained.
Lexi Abreu works as an electrician and has more than a million followers on TikTok, a social network where she shares more about her day-to-day work.
