Kate Middleton has apologized on social media for “any confusion” caused by the photo posted to Instagram this Sunday, Mother’s Day in the UK. Several media outlets removed the image from circulation throughout the day because it appeared to have been edited. Image editors Reuters stated that part of the sleeve of daughter Kate’s coat was aligned incorrectly, suggesting the image had been altered.
“Like many amateur photographers, I experiment with editing from time to time,” reads the story, posted on Instagram and signed with a “C” (denoting it was sent by Kate). “I wanted to apologize for any confusion surrounding the family photo we shared yesterday. [este domingo] called.”
