Leonid Volkov, a man who for years served as an adviser to Russian opponent Alexei Navalny, was attacked with a hammer outside his home in Vilnius, Lithuania, on Tuesday.
According to information provided by Leonid Volkov’s representative at X (formerly Twitter), Navalny’s ally was first attacked with tear gas and then with a hammer.
The police are already investigating the case.
Most of Navalny’s political support, the Anti-Corruption Foundation, which includes Volkov, is in Lithuania, having fled Russia.
