The man’s body was found on Tuesday in a state of advanced decomposition in a house on Rua dos Prazeres in Alcabides. The victim was 46 years old and had not been seen for three days.
The alarm was raised around 11:30 a.m. by passersby who noticed a sickening odor coming from the area.
Second advanced CM Miguel Jeronimo, Deputy Chief of the Alcabideche Fire Department, Inc. responded to the scene after receiving a request for assistance from GNR to open the door of the house.

The body was taken to the forensic department of the Gia cemetery for an autopsy. A police magistrate has been called and is conducting an investigation.
