“Sometimes we are surprised by the distances that sick elderly people or children travel. Nothing is impossible, even on steep and sloping terrain, as in this case,” says François Daoust, former director of criminal investigations of the gendarmerie. Even the fact that searches took place in this place and did not reveal the presence of a child is not strange. “The vegetation was thick at that time.
