Jairo climbed a building to save two children aged two and six from a fire in Seville, Spain. On Monday, a fire broke out in one of the houses, as a result of which 15 people were injured, five of them children.
According to the Spanish newspaper El Correo, the man climbed onto the building to save the family, who were standing at the window, trying to escape from the smoke and flames. Gyro took the two children, handing them over to another neighbor outside the house, and tried to calm the parents, still in the burning apartment, until firefighters arrived.
The father threw himself out of the window onto a mattress planted by neighbors, but eventually broke both legs and was taken to the hospital. Virgen del Rocío Hospital. The woman was safely rescued.
