The Prime Minister responded to Pedro Nuno Santos’ call for an agreement, if necessary, on a revised budget. “I acknowledge receipt of your letter, which confirms the PS’s public statement of support for increasing the value of careers and salaries,” Luis Montenegro begins with the letter.
The leader of the executive branch considers the presence of the CoP to be “a manifestation of political responsibility and commitment”, but emphasizes that the meeting will be scheduled after “negotiations with organizations representing workers”.
“The time and manner of conducting these negotiation processes will obviously be determined by the Government,” the letter, to which CM had access.
