Elon Musk again attacked a judge of the Supreme Court of Brazil and said that the judge was keeping Lula on a leash

Billionaire Elon Musk, owner of “X” (formerly Twitter), who has made several attacks on Brazil’s Federal Supreme Court (STF) judge Alexandre de Moraes since last Saturday, once again attacked the judge in an even harsher tone in the early hours of this Tuesday. In a new post, responding to comments from two far-right Brazilian lawmakers with ties to former President Jair Bolsonaro, Musk called the judge a brutal dictator and said Moraes was leading President Lula da Silva on a leash.

“Why does parliament allow @alexandre the power of a brutal dictator? They (parliamentarians) were elected, but he was not. Throw him out.” He attacked the multimillionaire in an exchange of messages with two Bolsonaro lawmakers, ending: “How is this Alexander de Moraes became the dictator of Brazil? He keeps Lulu on a leash.”

The attacks from X owners Tesla and Spacex, among other mega-companies, began out of nowhere on Saturday when Musk tweeted on his old Twitter account that Alexandre de Moraes, the STF rapporteur on cases against Jair Bolsonaro and other extreme big names – the Brazilian right wing, introduces censorship in Brazil. And he asked the judge directly: “@alexandre, why do you demand such strict censorship in Brazil?”

Musk is citing decisions by the Brazilian justice system, most of which were made by Alexandre de Moraes himself, to clear “X” of Bolsonaro’s radical allies who spread messages of hate and lies of all kinds, as they have done during the coronavirus pandemic. and openly defended the institution of a new military dictatorship in Brazil, led by the former president. In accounts blocked by order of the STF, these radicals even threatened to kill Alexandre de Moraes and other STF judges and played a decisive role in the brutal attacks in Brasilia on January 8 last year, inciting extremists who invaded the federal government of the Supreme Court. Congress and the Presidential Palace are trying to create so much social chaos that it will force the Armed Forces to intervene.

In messages over the weekend, Elon Musk wrote that he would unblock all right-wing extremist accounts blocked by order of the Brazilian STF and added that from now on he would not respect any decisions made by this court, repeating a statement made. in 2021 by then-President Jair Bolsonaro. In response, Alexandre de Moraes ordered Musk to be brought into an existing investigation against so-called “digital militias” whose main targets are Jair Bolsonaro and several allies, and also ordered the federal police to open a new case solely to investigate the crimes. possibly made by Musk with his statements, as well as the behavior of representatives of “X” in Brazil.
