At least three people were injured in a shooting in west Philadelphia, US, this Wednesday, FOX29 News reports. One of the wounded is one of the attackers who took part in the shootout.
The shooting reportedly occurred during a ceremony marking the end of Muslim Ramadan.
At the scene, one of the police officers shot a 15-year-old boy in the shoulder and leg with his service weapon. Authorities say five people have been arrested, including three men, a woman and a 15-year-old boy who was shot and killed by police. Five weapons were also found.
According to the same source and according to authorities, about 30 shots were fired during the shootout.
The victims were taken to the hospital. In addition to the 15-year-old, a 23-year-old man was wounded in the stomach, and another young man was wounded in the arm.
