Ashley Henry, 35, threw the car she was driving with her daughter Oriya into a truck. The father and daughter were found dead at the scene and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
According to MirrorA Grimsby Council investigation found the girl was likely not alive at the time of the collision. The pathologist identified several features indicating this, but could not determine exactly how the child died.
The report said the death was likely caused by an unlawful act that occurred minutes before the collision.
The child’s father and mother were separated and the girl spent the weekend with her father. The accident happened while Ashley was taking the baby back to her mother in Leicestershire.
