Four men wearing hoods and gloves robbed a veterinary clinic in Caldas da Rainha. From the working fund they took about 250 euros, a donation box for animal care and leashes.
On Friday, shortly after three o’clock in the morning, they forced open the gate leading to the VetSaude property. A crowbar was used to break down the door of the room, where three of the four people entered, remaining inside for about an hour, leaving everything in disarray. The CCTV camera and mobile phone were also broken.
Only in the morning, when the clinic opened, did it become clear that there had been a robbery. PSP conducted an examination to develop the investigation.
“The most important thing is that at the time of the robbery there was no one or animals in the clinic, and after the morning cleaning of the scene, we resumed normal work,” he said. CM Pedro Carvalho, owner of a veterinary establishment.
