ISCTE Executive Education analyzed 173 applications choose from 15 top-rated projects in each of the three categories: Parish Councils, Neighborhoods, and Social Citizenship. Now the jury must choose three big winners in each category and announce who will receive cash prizes and honorable mentions. Finalists will be judged on the results achieved and expected impact by seven individuals with relevant experience in packaging recycling and the circular economy. They are Ana Cristina Carrola, Ana Isabelle Trigo Morais, Carmen Lima, Isabelle Silva, Jose Sa Fernandez, Louise Schmidt and Luis Castro.
The top three in the Proximity Entities and Social Citizenship categories will receive cash prizes of up to €5,000 and two certificates of honor in both categories. Prize value is only 15,000 euros and is intended for new projects or for continuation of projects developed within the framework of the competition.
In the Parish Councils category, nine honorary awards will be awarded, with the first place awarded to unpublished artwork from recycled material by artist Cristina Rodriguezto install in your region. It’s called “Cardume” and aims to raise awareness among the Portuguese about recycling and the problem of ocean pollution.
