A 70-year-old man died on Monday evening in a tractor accident in the village of Nabo, Vila Flor, a local fire source in that municipality in Bragança district told Lusa on Tuesday.
“When we arrived, the tractor was completely overturned on the road. The victim suffered cardiopulmonary arrest. We removed the farm machine, began resuscitation efforts and called the INEM Immediate Life Support (SIV) ambulance based in Mirandela,” he explained. Davide Pingel, assistant commander.
The victim was taken to Mirandela Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Republican National Guard (NGR) claimed responsibility for the incident. The facts will be submitted to the court and the causes of the incident will be investigated.
