This Thursday, 16 defendants from the Sporting Juve Leo cheerleading group who were arrested as part of the PSP’s operation against violence in sports were released. However, they depend on the length of the identity card and residence.
These supporters were also banned from visiting sports venues and contacting the injured.
The detainees, who belong to the Benfica support group No Name Boys, are still being heard by a criminal judge and will soon become aware of the enforcement measures.
The crimes were committed on the territory of the stadiums “Estadio da Luz” and “Estadio de Alvalade” before and after the games, and not during them, between April and November last year. According to the PSP, the investigation began in April last year and there are two different situations of home robberies with violent attacks that led to an investigation that allowed other incidents to be investigated by the same suspects.
