A 56-year-old man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of kidnapping a nine-year-old girl outside Harrods department store in London while the girl was shopping with her parents, according to a report. Sun.
According to the same source, the child was missing for about three hours until authorities found the girl next to the man. The video footage shows a man and a child walking together in front of the store.
Police say they were “called at 2.44pm on Monday 22 April following a report of a missing child in Old Court Place” and added that a suspect was arrested approximately three hours later.
“The suspect was arrested at 5:40 p.m. and was still with the child,” they said. The child and family are supported by specialized people.
