A 61-year-old man ended up in a San Jose hospital after he was attacked at gunpoints by two robbers with only one goal: to steal the Rolex watch worth more than 20,000 euros that he was wearing on his wrist.
The brutal robbery took place in broad daylight, late Monday evening, in Largo dos Loyos, Alfama, Lisbon. According to CM As it turned out, the victim was entering the house when two men on a motorcycle appeared and cornered her. One of the robbers pointed a gun at the man and demanded that he give up his watch. But when the victim hesitated, one of the robbers hit him on the head three times. They then removed the watch from the man’s wrist and drove off at high speed on a motorcycle. The man, a foreigner but having lived in Portugal for several years, alerted the PSP, who found him bleeding from the head. He was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
