More than one hundred thousand migrants supported by the DACA program and designated as “Dreamers” will be able to access health care for the first time thanks to a new federal standard announced this Friday by President Joe Biden’s government.
The new standard will allow Dreamers access to one of the health insurance plans available to the public since the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as ObamaCare, was approved in 2010 during Barack Obama’s presidency.
