He said he killed his family because his adoptive parents took his cell phone. The teenager admitted to shooting his 57-year-old father in the back in the kitchen of their home. The sister heard the shot and was hit in the face when she entered the kitchen. After killing them both, he went to the gym and returned home to wait for his 50-year-old mother, who died when she entered the house and saw her husband and daughter dead on the floor.
The young man will now undergo a psychological examination.
