A pharmacy employee in Odivelash was forced to press the panic button (which connects to the local PSP police station) when a robber pointed a firearm at her face. The thief still managed to steal a certain amount of money.
The crime occurred at 17:45 on Thursday at the Capela Tavares pharmacy on Prof. Street. Dr. Augusto Abreu Lopez. A thief wearing a surgical mask covering his face entered the establishment with a gun in his hand.
Pointing a gun to the terrified victim’s face, he ordered her to fill her bag with money. There were only 110 euros in the cash register, which the victim handed over to the thief.
The attacker fled on foot. The PSP was called and since it was an assault with a firearm, the investigation was transferred to the judicial police.
ABOUT CM You know that the pharmacy has a video surveillance system, which was operating at that moment.
