The woman was killed in a collision with another woman at 9:35 am this Friday on Rua do Benformoso, in the Martim Moniz area, in Lisbon.
The victim had no signs of physical aggression or knife wounds on his body.
The first conclusion of the judicial police investigation, which only an autopsy will confirm, is that there was a hand-to-hand fight between the two women and that the victim fell and hit her head on the floor.
An official PSP source has confirmed this CM crime. “The death of the victim was confirmed on the spot by the INEM team,” the same source added.
The victim of the crime was a homeless man who usually spends the night in the Rua do Benformoso area. The woman had no documents.
Police forces arriving at the scene were unable to identify or arrest any suspects in the murder, or confiscate any weapons.
The judicial police are investigating.
The attack occurred at 9:35, but death was not confirmed until 10:02. Due to police work, vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the area is blocked.
