Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi on Tuesday in Seoul made a call for South Korean investment in the country, highlighting Mozambique’s potential in areas such as agriculture, mining, gas and energy, among others.
“Our statement is supported by the fact that Mozambique is one of the African countries with significant economic potential and rich resources such as arable land, a climate conducive to the cultivation of a variety of food crops, marine mineral resources in addition to natural gas and other renewable energy sources.” – said Nyusi, speaking at the Korea-Africa summit.
“In this path to economic development, the private and business sectors play a critical role through initiatives in various areas of the economy. For Mozambique, the areas of agriculture, manufacturing, mining, energy, tourism, service sectors such as logistics, banking and insurance, digital and information and communications technology and others,” he added.
