At least four people were reportedly killed and 26 injured when a passenger train collided with a freight train in the city of Pardubice in the Czech Republic this Wednesday. Reuters. According to emergency services, more than 300 people were traveling on the train.

Prime Minister Petr Fiala expressed his condolences to the victims through the same social network.
“The collision of two trains in Pardubice is a great misfortune. We are all thinking about the victims and wounded. My sincere condolences to all those mourning,” he wrote.
The accident occurred in Pardubice, which is part of the country’s main railway corridor leading from Prague to the east.
