Eduardo Quaresma, the central defender of the Sporting national football team, was involved in a family feud in the municipality of Seixal. The 22-year-old player entered into mutual aggression with his aunt and only PSP stopped the dispute.
This was announced by an official PSP source. CM that the footballer went on Wednesday afternoon to Quinta do Brasileiro, in Miratejo, Seixal, where his grandfather lives. The reason for the visit was the birthday of a family member.
For reasons yet to be determined, the 22-year-old got into a violent argument with his paternal aunt. Both even attacked each other in front of other family members and birthday party members. The violence even spread to public roads.
PSP confirms that it received a call and took responsibility for the incident. While there were no reports of injuries, PSP has identified two people involved in the physical confrontation. “It was explained to both that they have a six-month window to prosecute if they wish,” added an official PSP source contacted by our newspaper.
ABOUT CM I asked Sporting for their reaction to the episode with Eduardo Quaresma. An official source at the club said the player could not be contacted until late in the evening and that the institution “does not interfere in the private affairs of athletes.”
