The Portuguese football team lost 2-1 to Croatia this Saturday in the second game of their preparations for Euro 2024, returning 10 years later to the National Stadium in Oeiras.
After winning the first friendly against Finland (4-2), the Portuguese team saw Croatia score from a penalty from Modric in the eighth minute and Budimir in the 56th minute, while Diogo Jota scored against Portugal in the 56th minute. 48.
After a second defeat under Roberto Martinez, Portugal have one more game left before traveling to Germany, the country that hosts the European Championship from June 14 to July 14, to face Ireland on Tuesday in Aveiro.
At Euro 2024, Portugal will play in Group F along with the Czech Republic (June 18, in Leipzig), Turkey (June 22, in Dortmund) and Georgia (June 26, in Gelsenkirchen).
