The alleged aesthetic procedure was carried out at the home of a fake doctor in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, or bungalow in Playa del Inglés. In total, from 2026 to 2019, a woman deceived about thirty-seven women, according to La Voz de Galicia.
On Tuesday, the suspect was sentenced to 29 years and seven months in prison, a fine of 4,500 euros and compensation of 181,000 euros for committing the crime of professional interference.
The defendant was also charged with dozens of offenses of insult, but was acquitted of the crimes of fraud and public health with which she was accused.
The verdict proved that the woman did not have special training, permission or qualifications to carry out this activity.
Infiltration into the lips was carried out in an unsuitable room and with syringes already pre-filled with silicone.
The first session cost 150 euros, the second – 50. The affected clients “began to feel discomfort, such as excessive swelling, granulosis, severe pain with any blow, even the smallest one.” According to the court, in messages exchanged via WhatsApp, the fake doctor explained that the discomfort was “normal and that they should massage the lips, apply ice and, in some cases, use anti-inflammatory drugs.” Chief Judge of the city Canary Islands.
