A PSP agent was injured early this Sunday morning when he was hit by a French-registered car that was traveling with two people inside against the direction of traffic in Quinta de São José, in Odivelas.
Everything happened at 5 am. When agents attempted to approach the driver, he rammed the patrol car with his vehicle and struck the officer. One of the men fled on foot into the warehouse, but was intercepted and detained. The second man escaped in a car and authorities believe he had a firearm.
The PSP agent who was hit by the car suffered an injury to his right leg (he was pinned between two cars) and was taken to the Beatriz Angelo Hospital in Loures. He was found to have a bruise on his leg and was therefore unable to serve.
