Hamas members involved in the October 7 attacks on Israel were hit by airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Monday evening. The attack will lead to deathat least 10 family members of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, including a sister.
“The IDF overnight attacked terrorists operating inside two structures in the northern Gaza Strip, including terrorists involved in the hostage holding and the October 7 massacre,” the IDF said in a statement.
According to the Israeli army, two buildings used by the military were attacked in Shati and Daraj Tuff in the northern Gaza Strip. “The terrorists operated inside the school complexes, using them as cover for their terrorist activities,” Israel explains.
In preparation for the attack, aerial surveillance, precision-guided munitions and additional intelligence measures were used to reduce harm to civilians.
