The gag order hanging over Donald Trump in the Stormy Daniels porn case in which he was convicted was changed by a judge on Tuesday, allowing the former US president to publicly comment on witness and juror testimony.
Judge Juan M. Merchan’s decision, which comes just days before Trump’s debate on Thursday with Democratic President Joe Biden in the US presidential election, clears the way for the likely Republican nominee to again attack his former lawyer Michael Cohen, porn star Stormy Daniels and others witnesses.
On May 30, Trump was found guilty of falsifying records to cover up a potential sex scandal, making him the first former US president to be convicted of the crime.
