The PSP unit at Lisbon Airport has detained a man and a woman on suspicion of committing a crime, a statement said today.
Last Wednesday, the Airport Security and Border Control Department of the Lisbon PSP detained a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of committing a crime related to document forgery.
The statement said the passport the woman presented at border control raised doubts about its authenticity and was found to be counterfeit.
The woman has been charged and will face trial.
On Thursday, the same unit arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of committing an offence related to possession of a prohibited weapon after he noticed a bladed weapon during an X-ray inspection of his hand luggage.
The PSP indicates that this suspect will pay 153 euros to the Penser association.
