The victims were killed by arrows from a hunting crossbow (bow gun) in the house they lived in. The mother, Carol Hunt, was found in the hallway of the house with a crossbow bolt lodged in her chest.
The victims’ husband and father, John Hunt, was on duty at BBC Radio 5 at the time of the attack and called the police emergency services on his return home.
Kyle Clifford, 26, the ex-boyfriend of one of BBC commentator John Hunt’s daughters, was found by authorities in a cemetery after murdering three women in Hertfordshire, southern England. The killer was was on the run for nearly 24 hours, forcing authorities to mount a major operation. Police said no shots were fired when they found the suspect.
