The pressure continues on Joe Biden, who is making more and more mistakes every day and giving reasons to those who doubt his abilities. After calling Putin’s Volodymyr Zelensky, confusing Kamala Harris with Donald Trump, and replacing China with Russia at a press conference following the NATO summit, Donald Trump has decided to ask Biden to take a cognitive test.
The former US president even said he would be willing to take the test himself. “Joe should take a cognitive test immediately, and I will go with him and take another one,” he said. Trump, 78, also suggested that “all presidential candidates should take a cognitive test and an aptitude test, regardless of age.”
The Republican candidate in the November 5 presidential election believes his rival’s mistakes are unforgivable. However, the Ukrainian president has already said that Joe Biden’s gaffe is a “mistake” that he can forget.
“This is a mistake. I think the US is very supportive of Ukrainians. We can forget about some mistakes, I think that’s true,” Volodymyr Zelensky said.
Despite the gaffes and awkward moments that have marked his campaign, Joe Biden remains determined not to give up on the White House. “I promise I’m OK,” Biden assured supporters Friday at a restaurant in Northville, Michigan, a state he needs to win in November if he wants to win another term.
That same night, at a rally in Detroit before 2,000 supporters, the president asked which was more serious: misspelling names or committing crimes like rape, referring to the case of Trump and writer E. Jean Carroll.
