A young man was killed and two others were injured in a car crash that occurred overnight in Viseu, a source in the Viseu-Dau-Lafoes sub-regional command told Lusa on Tuesday.
The car crash was recorded at around 2:30 a.m. on Rua da Regadinha in Orgens and resulted in the death of an 18-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene by the ambulance and resuscitation team, the same source explained.
According to a source in the Civil Defense, the car also contained a 21-year-old young man who received serious injuries, and another 19-year-old man who received minor injuries.
20 firefighters and nine vehicles from the Viseu Zapadores fire brigade and volunteers, the National Institute of Emergency Medicine and the PNP arrived at the scene.
