A 68-year-old man was found lifeless in a well in the town of Peredo de Bemposta, in the municipality of Mogadouro, Bragança district, this Wednesday, a GNR source told Lusa.
“We were called to a situation where a man fell into a well located in a vegetable garden in the town of Peredo de Bemposta, in the municipality of Mogadouro. We are investigating the incident and all scenarios are open,” the same source explained.
The well is usually used to irrigate a small agricultural area.
The body was taken to the Mogadouro Medical Centre.
Two ambulances from the National Institute of Emergency Medicine (INEM) arrived at the scene: one was parked at the Mogadouro fire station and the other from the SIV service was parked at the local health centre.
Soldiers of the Polish People’s Republic joined these media outlets.
