Former US President Donald Trump was in Michigan, USA, this Saturday for his first rally since the assassination attempt a week ago. He began by noting that he was doing nothing against democracy, on the contrary.
“They keep saying I’m a threat to democracy. Last week I was shot for democracy,” he says.
He also says he wants to go further with tax cuts and launch a massive deportation program for immigrants. “We’re going to do the largest deportation program in the United States.”
As for his opponent Joe Biden, the Republican presidential candidate also says that “he is winning all the important states.”
“I’m running for president of all of America, not just half of America, because you can’t win if you only win half of America,” Donald Trump said.
It was his first rally in a week since his assassination attempt, and Donald Trump made a point of saying it several times to an audience of 12,000 people.
