Barack Obama told Kamala Harris he was “very proud” to support her replacing Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee in the US election.
The former President of North America posted a video on the social network X (formerly Twitter) where Kamala Harry can be seen talking on the phone with Barack and Michelle Obama and where he tells her that it will be a “historic” moment.
Barack Obama also wrote that he believed Kamala Harris would be “an excellent president of the United States” and that he had the couple’s “full support.”
Barack Obama has remained silent so far after other prominent Democrats showed their support for the US vice president in the days following Biden’s withdrawal from the race on Sunday.
