Because summer is not only about big festivals, there are also many small and medium-sized events worth noting. The week that starts now is a good example. In Gaviaña, Alentejo, from August 2 to 4 there is Beat Fest, Mundo Segundo, Regula, T-Rex and Dillaz, to name a few, while further north there is the Ponte de Lima festival from August 1 to 20. On August 3, names like Mao Morta, Conjunto Corona, Surma, Glokenwise or The Last Internationale.
On August 1st, 2nd and 3rd, the N2 festival, which will take place in the Chaves Community Garden, will feature, among many others, Thiago Betancourt, Branco or Maro. On the other hand, in São Pedro do Sul, Tradidanças, a festival of traditions, dance, music and nature, is back. It starts on August 31st and runs until August 4th. In Lisbon, Jazz em Agosto, in its 40th edition, will be led by Gulbenkian from the 1st to the 11th of next month. There are names such as James Brandon Lewis, the Red Lily Quintet or Lucas Niggli Tentet. In turn, Castelo Branco will host the 3rd Mais Solidário festival from August 2nd to 4th, with the participation of Carolina Deslandes, Fernando Daniel or the Wet Bed Gang. For those who prefer a heavier sound, the Vagos Metal Fest will take place from August 2nd to 4th in Quinta do Ega (Vagos) with Overkill, Epica or Blind Guardian.
