The 30-year-old woman was allegedly raped early Monday morning near the municipal swimming pools of Cantanhede. The victim was leaving a party at Expofacic, Cantanhede’s agricultural, commercial and industrial fair. She was walking home alone when a man approached her on the street. The woman claims she was grabbed in a deserted area, barely moving, and raped.
The National Republican Guard was called to the scene and confirmed CM who took responsibility for the incident. However, the case was transferred to the judicial police of the Center. As it turned out, the investigation is ongoing.
The complaint says the attacker, who appeared to be in his 30s, was believed to be a foreigner. However, his identity has not yet been established by authorities.
