The National Union of Civil Aviation Pilots (SNPVAC) said on Friday that easyJet had cancelled more than half of the flights scheduled for the crew strike days from the 15th to the 17th of this month.
“Unfortunately, despite easyJet not yet being included in the Crew schedule, we see that to date easyJet has already cancelled 164 of the 308 flights scheduled for 15, 16 and 17 August,” the union said in a statement to Associated, which Lusa had access to.
SNPVAC called for a three-day strike by easyJet cabin crew from 15 to 17 August after being approved at a general meeting with 99% of votes in favour, accusing the company of ignoring various attempts to address labour issues including staff shortages and increased working hours.
