According to announcements published on Tuesday-Friday, the local health units (ULS) of Amadora Sintra, Santa Maria in Lisbon and Arco Ribeirinho (Barreiro Montijo) are recruiting specialists in general and family medicine, internal medicine, clinical pathology and cardiology.
ULS Amadora-Sintra has announced a call for 62 specialists in general and family medicine and one in clinical pathology on an “urgent basis”.
The deadline for submitting applications is five working days, starting from this Tuesday (the date of publication of this notice).
According to ULS, this deadline is due to the urgent nature attributed to the decree-law of June 21, which establishes a special regime for the reception of doctors in the category of assistants in the medical career of public business entities integrated into the National Health Service and a special medical career.
The Santa Maria Local Health Department also announced a general competition to fill five vacancies in the category of senior assistant in general and family medicine and one in cardiology.
According to a notice published in Diário da República, the deadline for submitting applications is 15 working days.
The Diário da República newspaper also published an announcement of a competitive procedure being carried out by ULS Arco Ribeirinho to recruit a specialist in internal medicine, with candidates given 15 working days to submit their applications.
