Following an alarm raised by members of the public, a team of firefighters from the Lisbon Regiment (RSB) arrived at Marechal Humberto Delgado Square (Sete Rios) on Wednesday afternoon due to a child being forgotten on a bus.
A source in the Civil Defense reported this CM that the fire brigade from Alcaneda, passing through the area, was alerted first. It was 2:05 p.m. when a group of people explained that a child had been locked in a bus.
Due to territorial jurisdiction, this service was taken over by RSB, an official source of the fire department reported. CM that a car and six people were mobilized. “When we arrived, we were told that the situation had been resolved and we left,” he explained. The same source added to CM “not knowing whether there were actually children on the bus and what condition they were in.”
