The emigrant who was seriously injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a car in Bucos, Cabeceiras de Basto, late Thursday, did not survive his injuries and died on the way to the hospital. S. João was being taken there by the Cabecerense firefighters, accompanied by INEM.
The accident happened at around 8:10 p.m. Fernando Pereira, 59, was an expat in France and was on holiday in Bucos, where he is from. The fear is general.
The Bucos Viva association has already come to mourn the death of the son of the soil, postponing the weekend activities planned, namely a motorcycle ride and traditional games.
“We pray for the family and friends of Fernando, a man who has accompanied the association since its creation and who has always presented himself at all the events we organized, where he spread his joy with his ever-friendly smile and captivating energy,” the association wrote on its Facebook social network.
