The Portuguese Film Academy announces on Monday the Portuguese films that have passed the pre-selection process for nominations for the Oscars, the North American film awards, in 2025.
This preliminary selection was made by the Academy committee from thirty nationally produced feature films deemed eligible, scheduled to premiere between November 1, 2023 and guaranteed until September 30 of this year.

The 97th Academy Awards, still considered the most coveted international film awards, is scheduled to take place on March 2, 2025, in Los Angeles, California.
Oscar nominations in all categories will be announced on January 17.
