Health authorities have taken a child rescued from the rubble of the earthquake that rocked Turkey and Syria to a “safe place”, said on Thursday BBC.
The decision was made as a precautionary measure to protect Aya from possible kidnap attempts and adoption scams.
On Monday there was a violent incident in the hospital where the baby was. A nurse, accompanied by two armed men, allegedly attacked the administrator of the medical center. However, the official denied that it was an attempted kidnapping.
“The kidnapping allegations were a misunderstanding. This was purely an internal affair of the hospital and had nothing to do with the child,” said hospital spokesman Ahmad Haj Hassan.
However, management prioritizes Aya’s well-being and intends to proceed with caution.
