The Israeli army said on Monday it had identified “so far 31” fighters from Hamas and Islamic Jihad, two armed movements in the Gaza Strip, “eliminated” in Saturday’s attack on a school housing displaced people that sparked international protests.
The army, which on Saturday released the names and photographs of 19 men it said were fighters for the two Palestinian movements, issued a new statement containing 12 more names and photographs.
On the other hand, Palestinian emergency services said in a statement this Monday to the Agence France-Presse (AFP) that 93 people were killed in Saturday’s Israeli attack, of which “75 have been identified,” including “11 children and six women.”
