The body of a woman in her 60s was found Tuesday in a burnt-out factory in Athens, Greece.
The factory building belongs to the municipality of Patima Chalandriou, which had to be partially evacuated on Monday due to the proximity of the fire.
The fire started on Sunday afternoon in Varnabas, about 35 km from Athens, and mobilized hundreds of firefighters.
According to ERT, the wind was one of the reasons why the fire got out of control and contributed to the formation of a 30-kilometer fire front. Some flames exceeded 25 meters in height.
On Monday, a fire department spokesman Vasilis Vatrakoyannis said at least one firefighter had suffered serious burns. The Health Ministry said 66 people had been treated so far.
This Tuesday, the country expects reinforcements from Serbia and Turkey.
