A young 24-year-old immigrant was detained by the PSP in Chavez after getting lost. and showing a blood alcohol level exceeding 1.2 grams of alcohol per liter. The accident occurred early Wednesday morning on Rua Senhora da Boa Morte.
According to Morning mail and as the images we had access to show, the BMW 5 Series went off the road and was completely destroyed in a cornfield. In addition to the driver, there were two other people in the car.
The alarm signal to rescue teams was supposed to be given by the car’s system. PSP Chavez and volunteer firefighters Flavienses were called to the scene. However, despite the destruction, no one had to be transported to the hospital.
The car was rented in France by an expat to go on holiday to Portugal.
