Romanian justice announced Wednesday that it had re-arrested “influential” misogynist Andrew Tate, who is already awaiting trial for rape and human trafficking, as part of a new investigation.
Andrew Tate, 37, and his brother Tristan, 36, who holds dual British and American citizenship, were held for 24 hours for questioning by Romanian prosecutors, who executed four search warrants relating to offences relating to gang formation, organised crime, trafficking of minors, sexual activity with minors and money laundering.
In a statement from a spokesman, the two men confirmed that the searches of their homes were linked to a new investigation into alleged human trafficking and money laundering.
