A taxi driver has been missing since dawn on Thursday in Casal de Cambra, Sintra municipality. The family is desperate and has already reported the case to the PSP.
Luis Estevez, 49, left home at 3:30 a.m. driving his gray Audi A3. The destination will be the Cepsa gas station in Benfica, Lisbon, where he will pick up a taxi in which he will enter the service.
“My father’s boss called him at 7 am, he was surprised that he did not come to work, and the cell phone was already turned off. Dad always tells mom when he gets into a taxi, and this time he didn’t say anything,” his daughter, Jessica Estevez, tells CM.
When Luis Estevez left the house, he was wearing jeans, a navy blue sweater, a green jacket with white lettering, and gray sneakers.
This Friday afternoon, the PSP detected a signal emitted by Luis Estevez’s mobile phone.
This was reported by a source close to the process. cm that, with the help of a mobile operator, it was possible to determine the area in which the signal of Luis Estevez’s mobile phone was detected.
At the moment, adds the same source, the device has not yet been restored. However, the PSP searches in a specific area with the support of the mobile operator.
The hope is to find Luis Estevez alive.
